Hey, welcome to my blog.

Name’s Eric. I’m currently a student at the University of California, Berkeley.  I am currently a Economics\Computer Science double major.  Which means I struggle to maintain a life outside of my studies.

The blog is called Guildwriter because that’s the handle I generally use whenever I go online. It’s been that way since the day I finally got a computer that could run Counter-Strike way back in the day. I remember the night before the computer was supposed to arrive, I was lying in bed trying to think of a name that no one else would have. It had to be unique, but it also had to be something that described me to some extent. Well, at the time, I figured I wanted “writer” to be in there because that was what I loved to do.

“Guild” just sounded good. So I put them together and thus, Guildwriter was born. Chances are if you see that handle online, it’s me. As far as I can tell, no one else uses it.
